Crafted with care at Grimm’s Bluff Estate, the 2014 Reserve Sauvignon Blanc embodies the harmony of tradition and innovation. Nestled in the Happy Canyon AVA, this biodynamic vineyard spans 16.5 acres of meticulously cultivated vines, reflecting the purest expression of California terroir.

The 2014 vintage captures a stunning profile of tropical fruits, lemongrass, melon, and lime, creating a vibrant palate that is both rich and refreshing. The long finish unveils layers of complexity, featuring mineral undertones and a sleek texture that delights with every sip. Certified organic and biodynamic, Grimm's Bluff 2014 Sauvignon Blanc sets the stage with the Nutcracker Overture, pointently imprints the palette throughout out March of the Soldiers, and twirls vibrant flavors through the enchanting 'Journey through the Snow,' a symphony for your senses.

Foxen 2021 Pinot Noir captures the essence of Santa Barbara’s Santa Maria Valley, blending earthy sophistication with vibrant fruit flavors that bring the magic of the Nutcracker to life. Its light to medium ruby core with an orange rim introduces aromas of baking spice, leather, wet earth, and cedary herbs, leading to a palate filled with juicy black cherry, red currant, and blue plum. The layered finish is balanced by bright acidity and firm tannins, creating a wine that is as dynamic as it is elegant.  This Pinot Noir reflects the richness of its terroir. Whole-berry destemming, open-top fermentation, and daily punch downs enhance its complexity and texture, while 10 months of aging in neutral French oak lend it balance and harmony. Much like the Nutcracker’s Journey Through the Snow, this wine glides with effortless grace, delights with the sweetness and refinement of the Sugar Plum Fairy, and bursts with the fiery energy of the Trepak. 

Redtail honors the unique character of each vintage, celebrating unaltered purity of fruit and a harmonious balance of composition. Named after the majestic red-tailed hawks that grace the skies above Dovecote, this wine pays tribute to their beauty and strength.  Each year, Dovecote carefully observes the palette of grapes grown on its vineyard, blending Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Petite Sirah crafting a wine that is as distinctive as it is expressive.  Redtail’s layered complexity and vibrant red fruit flavors make it the perfect pairing for the Nutcracker’s Chocolate (Spanish), Coffee (Arabian), Tea (Chinese) and Marzipan (French) Dances. Like the bold rhythms,  depth and delicate harmony of the the four dances there is mirroring refined balance. Together, this wine and music pairing evoke a sensory journey through the Nutcracker’s cultural brilliance, blending passion, elegance, and a celebration of tradition.

Ehlers 2022 Cabernet Franc embodies the grace and sophistication of the Nutcracker's "Waltz of the Flowers" and the romantic allure of the Pas de Deux. From its deep, brooding nose of violet flowers, new leather, cocoa powder, and black cherries to its surprisingly firm, mineral-driven tannins, this wine offers a dynamic and compelling experience. Waves of kirsch cherry, bergamot tea, pomegranate, and baking chocolate unfold on the palate, with hints of citrus marmalade and crushed rocks peeking through the persistent finish.
